Yoga and Massage

The former director of a large yoga program and owner of a yoga
studio, Deanna Figueira has taught yoga to thousands of students over the past decade.

Trained in Santa Cruz, California, she received certification in Jamaica as a teacher of TriYoga, a flowing yoga style which combines the trinity of asana, pranayama, and mudra.

In 2005 Deanna moved to Boipeba and has been conducting classes here for residents and visitors from all over the world. Private classes available.

After many years of teaching yoga and dance, Deanna decided to further her knowledge of the body and healing through massage. She received certification from the highly reputable Phillips School of Massage in California where she learned a variety of techniques and styles. Her massage combines the influences of Swedish, Tregor, deep tissue, accupressure, and energy work.
